If you like to go out for a bike ride without wondering where your route will take you or on what surface you will be traveling, then the SILEX is the bike for you. Our 200 model features the same lightweight aluminum frame as on more expensive models, with multiple fixing points for luggage, water bottles, fenders, and rear rack, and a full carbon fork for added comfort and precise steering. The wide gear range is perfect for long climbs as well as faster flat sections.
There’s a certain beauty in just riding without watching the time, heading wherever you feel the urge. For those rides, the test and award-winning SILEX makes total sense; our most comfortable and versatile road bike ever. With its modern MTB-inspired geometry, long top and head tubes, and short stem, it offers nimble, confidence-inspiring handling. While often seen on extended gravel and rough road outings, as well as bikepacking trips, the SILEX also found a strong following in comfort-orientated road riding connoisseurs as well as commuters and city traffic weavers. The more rugged 650b wheeled alternative to the 700c SILEX has managed to obtain multiple test wins as well as comfort awards, and is coming back in the form of the fully loaded and wirelessly shifted SILEX+ LIMITED. The ‘classic’ 700c SILEX also impressed the press with the 400 securing a test win in Cycling Plus, being certified as having a ‘huge fun factor’, ‘superb riding position’ and ‘brilliant off-road handling’.

TWO OPTIONS
The SILEX is available in two options. The ‘classic’ SILEX standing on 700c wheels, is the perfect ‘all-road’ bike which loves lanes, forest tracks, and gravel, or the new more ‘rugged’ SILEX+ version, which can easily tackle more demanding terrain due to its more burly 650B wheels and 45 mm tires. The choice is yours. Both options are based on the same frame, so wheels are exchangeable at a later date.
GO BIG (AS STANDARD)
As standard, the SILEX comes with 700x38c tires and the SILEX+ with 650Bx45c. The maximum tire size for 700c wheels is 42 mm (road profile) while with 650B wheels being fitted, tires up to 50 mm wide road profile tires on the carbon and up to 42 mm on the aluminum bikes can be run.
FULLY LOADED
In line with the design ethos of versatility and go anywhere, the SILEX is available with a wide range of luggage and accessory options, including frame bags and big saddle packs. The frame features fender mounts on the rear triangle as well as on the fork, transferring the SILEX quickly and easily into a fast training bike for the winter or a versatile commuting and touring bike.
SHIFTING SIMPLICITY
The majority of SILEX models are fitted with 1x drivetrains for simplicity, resulting in weight reduction and fewer moving parts. A 1x can deliver 98 % of the gear range of a 50-34 compact chainset with an 11-32 road set-up.
CARBON AND ALUMINIUM VERSIONS
Lightweight carbon or sophisticated aluminum frame options. Key differences, other than construction materials, are that the carbon frame has a lower weight and is equipped with an integrated seat post clamp to minimize turbulence at the top tube.
